Personnummer, ID & BankID
The identity layer everything else rests on, and the loop people get caught in. A personnummer is issued through folkbokföring — the population register Skatteverket enters you into — while a samordningsnummer covers those who do not yet qualify. The bank account, the ID card and BankID each depend on what came before them.
